Exploring the Journey of Creations By Julie Brayton

This Article Will Be Brief,

I am in the middle of an overhaul. If you read the first article in this series of three, you know I have been putting a lot of attention on my Etsy Shops. The first two in the list below in particular. I had been focused mostly on the Designs By Julie Art but then I acquired help with Etsy and the focus became Julie by The Coast where I primarly showcase Fine Art Print and Cards.

Designs By Julie Art focuses on designs I apply to products I choose. I have a Graphic Design background and I was very much into fashion in days past. I had to focus so I eliminated some things. I love designing so this is a way to satisfy that itch while not having to physically make every product. This is called P.O.D. Print On Demand. I can make a design that I then apply to various products such as in this case handbags and luggage for women. At this point I am limited to the products available but I have had a measure of success with these products. My goal is to eventually move away from this and take my designs farther into the actual product itself. My aunt is a master seamstress and I have already put the bug in her ear to make a garment using my designed fabric. Still away to go there but I never stop dreaming!

In the meantime, Etsy works best if you keep your product types to a minimum for algorythmn and marketing purposes. It’s not the easist platform to work with. When I got into it I thought it might be a passive income (retirement)  foundation. No Such Luck!! It’s a full time job! That’s ok I still enjoy it.

(Link Below) I cleared out a lot of product I had in there and it’s still under construction you might say but I would love your feedback on the bag designs. I have my tastes, which are not normally mainstream, so getting feedback from others keeps me in touch with what normal people would buy. Lol! You can respond to this email with your comments.
